Art That Scratches the Surface of Emotion

Turcan Alexander Gallery is a contemporary art space inspired by the bold energy of Pop Art, brought to life through a unique scribbly scratching technique on black glass. These artworks shine with a diamond-like glow, thanks to the textured surface beneath the glass. The contrast between this shimmering effect and the glossy black background creates a sense of depth and sophistication. It’s this mix of sparkle and shadow that makes each piece feel both modern and elegant. The gallery also showcases original sculptures, echoing the same bold contrasts and emotional depth as the glass artworks.

All artworks are made in Nice, France, on the Côte d’Azur. The collection is currently available exclusively online, but will soon be presented in a physical gallery, where visitors can experience the works in person.

Meet the talented artist behind the exquisite glass paintings at Alexander Turcan Gallery

Alexander Turcan is a visionary artist whose passion for painting was passed down from his father. From an early age, he immersed himself in the world of art, beginning formal studies at an art school and later graduating from the College of Decorative Arts in the Republic of Moldova. His journey naturally expanded beyond traditional painting into architecture and design — fields that allowed him to explore structure, space, and aesthetic harmony.

Driven by a deep desire to create beauty in everyday life, Alexander pursued interior design at the prestigious George Enescu University in Romania. Today, he lives and works on the Côte d’Azur, France, where he continues to craft unique artworks and offer full-service architectural and interior design solutions.

Through each brushstroke and design concept, Alexander blends emotion with form, tradition with innovation — offering not just art, but immersive visual experiences.
